A certified course through McLean is designed to appeal to runners of all abilities. One more reason to participate - The proceeds from McLean 5K Race will benefit the McLean Community Foundation, our local charity that supports all things McLean, from fire trucks to playgrounds to social services. For more than 35 years, MCF grants have enhanced the quality of life in McLean, encouraged civic spirit and supported community projects that we all value.
The Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce and our other generous sponsors invite you to join the event hosts, McLean Community Center and McLean Community Foundation, for the McLean 5K Race. Recruit a team of co-workers, teammates, neighbors and friends and mark the calendar for October 10, 2026. Race starts at 8 a.m.!
Registration will be available at packet pick up on Friday (the day before the race, October 9) at the McLean Community Center (1234 Ingleside Ave., McLean, Va. 22101) from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. and on Saturday morning before the race at the event site from 7-8 a.m.
Bring a donation for Share
As a part of this year's race, we are again collecting food donations to support Share of McLean. This terrific all-volunteer organization has been meeting our community's needs, whether it be supplying food, clothing, computers or furniture, for more than 50 years. When you pick up your race packet on Friday, Oct. 9, please consider bringing a few items from Share's "Most Needed Items" list, which can be found here.

$50 October 9 & 10: Packet pick-up and RACE DAY!

Awards will be given to the overall male and female finisher, plus the top two male & females finishers in the following age groups will receive a medal: Under 9, 10-14, 15-19, 20- 24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
