Back by popular demand! Join The Alden for a creative (and de-stressing) Friday evening master class for families. Master Artist, Kofi Dennis, will lead the group through intermediate-level drumming skills culminating a group drum circle. Participants do not need to have taken the Intro to Djembe Drumming class at The Alden, but should be familiar with basic drumming skills. This class is designed for children eight and older, and it is recommended that families participate together. Children under 14 must have a parent register and attend with them.

Jazz pianist, musicologist and humorist John Eaton brings his popular continuing education program to the Alden. Jazz Masters with John Eaton is an entertaining and insightful afternoon that combines Eaton’s peerless knowledge of the Great American Songbook, hilarious commentary and elegant, ultra-tasteful renditions of Cole Porter’s work.
