Monday, Nov. 1 - Saturday, Dec. 11

The McLean Community Center will be accepting toy donations for Toys for Tots from Monday, Nov. 1 through Saturday, Dec. 11.

Toys can be dropped off at the dropbox in the MCC lobby, or at the Santa Claus is Coming to Town event on Saturday, Dec. 11.

Toys for Tots, a 70-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to disadvantaged children during each Christmas holiday season. The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by the Marines offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime. It is such experiences that help children become responsible citizens and caring members of their community. Last year the Marine Corps fulfilled the holiday hopes and dreams of 7 million less fortunate children in 792 communities nationwide. Since 1947 over 244 million children have been assisted. For more information, visit www.toysfortots.org.

The McLean Community Center (MCC) has engaged AMS Planning & Research to provide support in planning future operations and programming.

Hearing from community members like you is important to this process, and we invite you to provide your input on the McLean Community Center’s provisions, programs and goals.

Five random survey entries will be selected to win a $60 voucher to use toward any MCC-sponsored activity, such as a class, summer camp, OFC day trip or dance or two tickets to an Alden Theatre performance. One-time use only up to $60.

Your responses will be confidential. Thank you in advance for your time and participation! The survey will end on Friday, Dec. 3
