4/1/20 COVID-19 Response Update 
Effective Friday, March 27, at 5 p.m., all Fairfax County Government buildings are closed to the public. This closure will remain in effect indefinitely in an effort to reduce the risk of COVID-19 virus transmission. Additionally, Fairfax County strongly urges residents to follow the stay-at-home order issued by Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam on Monday, March 30. A Resource for the McLean Community
Want to help others or need help yourself? The Fairfax County Community Covid Aid Project is a charity started at McLean High School to connect volunteers with those in need in our community during this difficult time. The organization runs a database where McLean residents can access services, like grocery shopping and online tutoring, by requesting help from a group of dedicated volunteers. All volunteers are Fairfax County residents, who have signed up through the website, https://www.fairfaxcountycovidaid.org.

MCC Governing Board Meeting for May Postponed to June 5



05/16/13, McLean, VA—The regular monthly meeting of the McLean Community Center Governing Board, originally scheduled for May 22, has been postponed to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5. All Governing Board meetings are open to the public. The Center is located at 1234 Ingleside Avenue.


The date of the meeting was changed because the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors will not meet until Tuesday, June 4. At that meeting the BOS will ratify the MCC 2013 Governing Board election. On June 5, MCC’s outgoing 2012-2013 board will hold its last meeting, which will be immediately followed by the first meeting of the incoming 2013-2014 board.


Tax district residents (Small District 1A-Dranesville) who wish to speak during the “Citizen Comment” portion of the meeting are asked to call the Center at 703-790-0123, TTY: 711 to be placed on the agenda.
