What a great way to spend a Friday evening—preparing delicious homemade tacos! Help to prepare these wonderful taco fillings and salsas and assemble the rest of the fixings! On the menu: Homemade Taco Seasoning; Baked Fish Tacos; Ground Turkey and Mushroom Filling; Black Bean and Tomato Filling; Guacamole Lime Cream; Pico de Gallo; Salsa Verde; Roasted Corn and Sweet Pepper Side Dish; Homemade Taco Sauce and Mexican Cinnamon Cookies to finish the meal.

Participants will learn the basics of making egg-based pasta dough from scratch and will then learn how to roll and cut the dough into a variety of shapes including: Cavatelli (small hollow pasta shells); Orecchietti (small ear-shaped pasta); Pappardelle (large broad flat noodles) and Quadrucci (little squares). Participants will then learn to make these delicious sauces to enjoy tasting their pasta with: Agloio e olio (olive oil, garlic and Parmesan) and Alfredo (cream, garlic and cheese).

Who doesn’t love chocolate?  Parents and kids will learn about cooking with chocolate and will make these scrumptious chocolate eats and treats to try and take home to share (or not!).  On the menu: Pulled Chicken with Chocolate BBQ Sauce; Chocolate and Orange Soufflés; Double Chocolate Cookies; Chocolate-Covered Mint Patties.

What a great way to spend a Friday evening, preparing a delicious spread of sushi along with other Japanese dishes! No raw fish will be used. Learn the technique of preparing the classic “seasoned” rice. Then help to prepare fillings including Spicy Tuna Rolls, California Rolls, Vegetable Rolls, Miso Soup, Japanese Butter Cookies.

Spend this Sunday afternoon making fresh basic egg pasta from scratch. You’ll make angel hair, fettuccini and cheese ravioli that you can take home. Alfredo and Marinara sauce will be prepared to taste with a bit of the basic pasta.
