International Food & Wine Festival

Featuring our Special Guests, the Food Network’s own Alton Brown and Washington D.C.’s critically acclaimed Chef Bob Kinkead.

Center, food and wine lovers will not want to miss McLean Uncorked!
For this premier event, we are honored to have a national celebrity food scientist plus a local celebrity chef. We also will have the finest of viticulture experts. There will be wine seminars, wine tastings and various food and wine associated vendors. Balducci’s Food Lovers Market will have hors d’oeuvres bento boxes for sale. You will walk away from this event with new inspirational ideas and a wealth of knowledge on wine and food.
The evening features a Wine-and-Dine-Around that kicks off in the McLean Project for the Arts’ Emerson Gallery with fine art, hors d’oeuvres and champagne. Following the reception, a trolley will whisk patrons off to a delectable, three-course, progressive dinner at some of the area’s finest restaurants.

• Free general admission. $30 for Wine Taster’s Wristband. Souvenir wine glass included.
• Wine seminars are priced separately and advance registration is required.

• Hours: 5 p.m.-10:30 p.m.
• $75 per person. Registrants must be 21 years or older.

Alton Brown will be selling and signing his books, Good Eats: The Early Years, Good Eats 2, and Gear for Your Kitchen, at the festival from
10 a.m.-12 p.m. in the McLean Project for the Arts Gallery.
International Wine Tasting Throughout the Building
The wine taster's wristband fee includes a souvenir etched wine glass and tastings from various Virginia wineries and select global wines to include: France’s Burgundy and Rhone regions; the Pacific Northwest; Spain; Italy; Argentina; Chile; Austria; Germany; and France’s hidden corners.
The Center would like to acknowledge the support of NVS Remodeling and Design for the countertop island for the Alden Theatre presentations and Chain Bridge Cellars for helping us produce this unique event in McLean.

All aboard! The Old Town Trolley comes to McLean for dinner! Participants will experience a delectable, fun and progressive dining experience. The evening will feature a Wine-and-Dine-Around that kicks off in the McLean Project for the Arts’ Emerson Gallery with fine art, hors d’oeuvres and champagne. Feast your eyes on the extraordinary paintings of Seth Rosenberg while you enjoy the hors d’oeuvres expertly paired with champagne from Balducci’s Food Lover’s Market. Following the reception, a trolley will whisk patrons off to a delicious, three-course, progressive dinner at some of the area’s finest restaurants.
We start this special evening at Evo Bistro for appetizers, then it’s on to Café Oggi for our main course. Our final stop is Assaggi Osteria for dessert. Each restaurant will perfectly pair two wines for each course of this unique menu. Bon appétit!
