For 5th-9th Graders

On FCPS teacher work days and school breaks, 5th-9th graders can join the Old Firehouse Teen Center on funfilled
trips! These trips depart from and return to the Old Firehouse located at 1440 Chain Bridge Road. Participants must bring clothes appropriate for the day’s activity. A signed OFTC Participant Form is required. Some trips also require a signed waiver. Forms are available online or at the Old Firehouse. Please turn in forms before the day of the trip. The Old Firehouse is open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. for each day’s trip participants.
 

Summer Camp

Does your teen want a summer full of the challenge of whitewater rafting, the experience of sailing on the Chesapeake Bay, or the excitement of visiting a favorite theme park? Teens can find these and more at the Old Firehouse Teen Center Summer Camp. Each week starts with fun group activities designed to help campers and staff get to know each other. During the week, teens build confidence, develop new skills and make friends through participation in the var- iety of weekly adventures. When not on a trip, teens enjoy hanging out at the teen center playing video games, making arts and crafts projects and participating in various other activities.

For your convenience, there are two ways you can register: online or at the Old Firehouse. Complete and return the Old Firehouse Participant Form and any waivers prior to the start of camp. All forms are available online and at the Old Firehouse. Sign up early as these trips SELL OUT FAST! Registration will close one full week before a camp will start.

Camp will be held Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Trips depart from and return to the Old Firehouse Teen Center, 1440 Chain Bridge Rd., McLean, VA 22101. Campers may want to bring additional money each day for incidentals and food.

Please Note: Trips may change due to weather conditions, location availability or other unforeseeable issues. The OFTC will make every effort to ensure replacement trips are as similar as possible to the trip originally planned.
