Mind Blowing Science
For ages 4-6. This class complements handson science activities with computer-based learning instruction. Young scientists make snow in April, grow colored crystals and mix safe powders to create solutions that foam and fizz. Students learn what makes soda pop pop and what causes bread to rise. They’ll also learn how to be a meteorologist by monitoring weather patterns with an actual weather station.

In Search of Dinosaurs

My Own Pet Shop
For ages 4-6. Children express their love for animals and develop entrepreneurial skills as they open their own pet shops. Students choose the animals to sell in their pet shops and feed, groom and maintain their pets. Actual exotic pet shop animals—an umbrella cockatoo from the rainforest, a desert lizard and red-legged, walking tree frogs from South Africa—visit the students.
