Classes for Children
The following classes for children and teens are offered by the McLean Project for the Arts in partnership with the Corcoran College of Art + Design at the McLean Community Center.

Drawing Fundamentals
For ages 8–12. Basic drawing skills are necessary for the creation of virtually all kinds of art. Using pencils, ink, charcoal and oil pastels, students will increase their observation skills while rendering objects in the real world. Emphasis will be on drawing proportion, using shading techniques to describe volume and perspective.
