This course brings together vivid stories of composers’ lives with a nuts-and-bolts understanding of their work. Recordings, visuals and live performances will leave you with a deeper understanding and appreciation for all music. Each session will be followed by a reception.

About The Instructor:
A. ScottWood, Director of Amadeus Concerts, conducts orchestras in theWashington area and beyond. He has taught at the American University and the National Cathedral School and has been a lecturer for the Borders College of Classical Knowledge and the Concurso de Canto Lirico in Peru.
