Examples of activities that will be listed on the calendar include:

• AAUW Book Sale
• McLean Community Center events
• Open events sponsored by the McLean Chamber of Commerce
• McLean Youth registration dates
• Community theatre auditions
• Candidates nights
• Community music and theatre performances
• Rotary, VFW and other local organizations’ large, open special events
• Back-to-School Nights, School stop/start dates
• High school plays and musical productions

Events that would not be included are:

• Events sponsored by groups outside McLean
• Regularly scheduled meetings of community organizations
• Specific church-sponsored programs unless they are seeking broad Community participation
• Events held outside McLean
• Events with dates that are tentative

For each event we will list:

• Event name
• Sponsoring organization
• Date, time, place
• Contact person and phone number, e-mail address and/or website address
• Brief description of event and any fees

You may submit your organization’s event information as far ahead as you like but all listings must be submitted at least 14 calendar days prior to the event.  All information submitted will be reviewed for conformance to our posting criteria.  Your organization’s contact person will be responsible for the accuracy of the information submitted.  You may have more than one individual designated as an authorized contact.
